The 1win Essence III Play-In starts on November 7. Ten teams will fight for four spots in a main event that already includes Team Spirit, PARIVISION and Team Liquid. Few upcoming Dota tournaments put this much weight on a five-day group stage.
Every series is a Bo3, so every loss hurts. We ran the full schedule through the GoCore prediction board, and two teams finish unbeaten. Pick’ems points will be won and lost in the race for second place in each group.
The Play-In runs from November 7 to 11. The ten teams are split into two single round-robin groups of five. Each team plays four Bo3 series. The top two in each group qualify for the main event. The other six are eliminated.

The main stage follows online from November 12 to 18. Eight invited teams are already waiting there: PARIVISION, Team Spirit, Team Liquid, BetBoom Team, Aurora Gaming, GamerLegion, LGD Gaming and 1w Team. The four Play-In qualifiers complete the field of twelve.
Power Rangers are the clear favourites in Group A. We have them winning all four series and dropping just one map, in a 2-1 win over CyberHero on November 10. Their other three wins come without losing a game.

Second place goes to Angry Birds. They step in for Astra Invicta, who couldn’t field a lineup because of roster issues. The replacement roster is ssnov1, Mirele, Ankou, waveformn and PERDAN4IK. Their key result is a projected 2-0 win over CyberHero on November 8. They edge Ka4kanarskie cyxariki 2-1 the next day. Their only predicted loss comes against Power Rangers on November 11.
CyberHero are the unlucky ones. They beat Ka4kanarskie cyxariki and Froglings without dropping a map. Losses to both qualifiers leave them at 2-2.
Ka4kanarskie cyxariki pick up one win, against Froglings. Froglings lose every series that has a prediction.

One series is still open. Angry Birds vs Froglings on November 7 has no prediction on the board yet. The result will not change the top two. A win puts Angry Birds clear in second. A loss creates a tie with CyberHero, and Angry Birds’ head-to-head win settles it.
PlayTime top Group B with a perfect 4-0. They beat LEGION and HULIGANI 2-1 on opening day. Then they sweep Yellow Submarine and Xipto Esports.
The Dota 2 odds lean the other way in two key series. Bookmakers favour LEGION over PlayTime on November 7, but our board backs PlayTime 2-1. On November 8, Yellow Submarine are clear favourites against HULIGANI. We predict HULIGANI 2-1.

That upset call decides the group. HULIGANI finish 3-1, losing only to PlayTime. Their 2-1 win over Xipto Esports on November 11 shuts out their closest chaser.
Xipto Esports end at 2-2 with wins over Yellow Submarine and LEGION. Yellow Submarine manage one win, against LEGION. LEGION lose all four series, but three of those go the full three maps.

Group A
Group B
A Dota 2 bet website prices every series differently. GoCore Pick’ems keeps it simpler. A correct pick earns +1 and a wrong pick costs -1. That puts the focus on reading the matchup, not chasing the price.
HULIGANI vs Yellow Submarine is the boldest call on the board. If you trust the upset, lock it in before November 8.
The four qualifiers then face a much tougher field. Team Spirit, PARIVISION and the rest of the invited teams start on November 12. For Power Rangers and PlayTime, a clean Play-In would be the best possible warm-up.
