The first Tier 1 event of the 2026-27 season is down to four teams. Team Yandex, Team Spirit, PARIVISION and Aurora Gaming are all still alive in Malta. Every remaining series is a rematch from earlier in the event.
That makes this weekend a test of memory and adjustment. Teams have seen each other already. The side that learns faster will lift the trophy.
Below are our picks for every series left in this Dota 2 ongoing tournament. Each one can go straight into your GoCore Pick’ems lobby. A correct call earns a point. A wrong one costs a point. So every decision counts.
Team Yandex arrived in Malta as PGL Wallachia Season 9 champions. It was their first title with ATF in the offlane, and the roster looks sharper every week.
The playoffs have backed that up. Yandex beat LGD Gaming in three games. Then they beat PARIVISION, the TI 2026 runners-up, in another three-game series. Both deciders went their way.
Team Spirit are the reigning TI champions, but this is a reshuffled roster. They still look dangerous. Spirit beat Yandex 2-1 in the Seeding Matches, including a brutal 26-minute stomp in Game 2. They then edged Aurora 2-1 in the upper bracket semifinal.
The Dota 2 live stats from Malta tell a clear story. Yandex have faced the tougher path and kept winning the games that mattered. CHIRA_JUNIOR and Watson have controlled the map, and ATF has given the team a new layer of aggression.
Our pick:
Team Yandex win the upper bracket final and avenge the seeding loss.
PARIVISION already know how to beat Aurora at this event. They swept them 2-0 in the Seeding Matches, and the opening game was over in under 28 minutes.
Aurora deserve credit for their recovery. Mikoto’s return has steadied the team, and they cleared LGD 2-0 to reach this round. Their ceiling is high.
PARIVISION looked shaky against 1w Team on Friday and needed all three games. Still, their structure and drafting depth remain a level above. Teams that reached a TI grand final rarely fold twice in one weekend.
Our pick:
PARIVISION beat Aurora Gaming and reach the lower bracket final.
This is the series fans circled weeks ago. Spirit beat PARIVISION, then playing as Team Vision, 3-2 in the TI 2026 grand final in Shanghai. Now they meet again with a grand final spot on the line.
PARIVISION will have the momentum of a lower bracket win. Spirit will have the sting of an upper bracket defeat. The dota 2 odds may frame this as close, but Spirit’s habit of rising after a loss is hard to ignore.
Our pick:
Team Spirit beat PARIVISION and book a grand final rematch with Yandex.
Sunday’s grand final is a best-of-five. That changes the math. Short series reward hot starts. Long series reward adaptation.
That is Spirit’s strength. They won TI in five games by adjusting deep into the series. Against Yandex, they will also have three games of fresh data from Saturday to study.
Yandex will make it hard. Their form is real and their confidence is high. But the third meeting between these teams in one event favours the side with more big-stage experience.
Our pick:
Team Spirit win BLAST Slam VIII over Team Yandex.
You don’t need to stake money to test your read on this bracket. GoCore Pick’ems runs a dedicated Dota 2 lobby where your predictions climb weekly, monthly and yearly leaderboards. Unlike a Dota 2 bet website, the only thing at risk is your ranking.
Our full slate: Yandex over Spirit, PARIVISION over Aurora, Spirit over PARIVISION, and Spirit over Yandex in the grand final. Remember that picks lock once confirmed, so make your calls before each series starts.
Do you trust Spirit’s experience, or is this Yandex’s weekend? Lock in your picks on GoCore and tell us your champion.
